College Essay Topics
When writing a college essay, you can choose to write about anything that is not included in the text book, and you should. There are many topics that have been selected for college essays and many more that will be seen over the years to come. Here are some of the different topics to look at in college.
Politics has always been a popular topic in essays and it is continuing to rise in popularity. When reading a draft of a final exam, or homework assignment, many students have a tendency to let their political viewpoints show through and put into the essay. As a writer, this is not what you want to do. You want to steer clear of any politics at all if possible. If you do decide to include a political topic, it should be a minor one and only come up in the last sentence of the essay.
The classics are also a favorite topic for college students and especially when they are looking to test their student's writing skills. As far as classics go, Shakespeare is always a good one to start with.
